This editing stage concentrates on the project's big-picture arc, and drills down into specific areas, like:
Fiction: themes, plot, character development, pace, positioning, structure
Non-fiction: argument, organisation, tone, audience engagement, positioning/target audience
I'd write a report on these areas, and in addition I’d mark up the MS with queries and comments as I went through.

Price:
from £21 per 1,000 words
final price to be confirmed after I have assessed sample material; I’m happy to do this before you commit to booking / paying the booking fee
Payment stages:
£100 booking fee to schedule the project
the remaining balance split half on project commencement and half on completion, to be paid by bank transfer. The project will be returned to you following receipt of the final payment.
Overseas clients
I’m very happy to accept work from clients who live outside the UK. In order to ensure the payment received matches the fee exactly, I recommend using my Wise business account. (Wise is typically cheaper than traditional banks, especially for international transfers, and it’s a very transparent service.)
