Developmental editing (two rounds)
This editing stage concentrates on the project's big-picture arc, and drills down into specific areas, like:
Fiction: themes, plot, character development, pace, positioning, structure,
Non-fiction: argument, organisation, tone, audience engagement, positioning/target audience
Stage One: I'd write a report on these areas, and in addition I’d mark up the MS with queries and comments as I went through.
Stage Two: when you have revised the MS, I will do one round of assessment, reviewing your changes and giving you feedback.

from £27 per 1,000 words
final price to be confirmed after I have assessed sample material; I’m happy to do this before you commit to booking / paying the booking fee
Payment stages:
£100 booking fee to schedule the project
the remaining balance split half on project commencement (stage one) and half on completion (stage one), to be paid by bank transfer. The project will be returned to you following receipt of the final payment.
