I’m always interested in new literary opportunities, outside of standard editorial work.

For example, I enjoyed being involved in the 2024 Quick Reads project, abridging Karen Swan’s The Last Summer.

The Reading Agency’s Quick Reads project provide a route into reading that prioritises great storytelling and adult-focused content while ensuring the books are written in an accessible and easy-to-read style.

The poster encourages readers to check out the quick reads, which are short books written by bestselling authors.

I find it very interesting to work on texts translated to English from another language; such as Chronicles of a Dyslexic Author by Giannis Paschos, translated from Greek, and Raised by the Kremlin by Julia Matjuhina, translated from Finnish
